Will waxing facial hair make it grow back thicker?

In short – nope! Waxing facial hairs will not make your hairs grow back thicker or coarser. Waxing removes hair from the root, encouraging the hair follicle to become weaker over time. Waxing is different to shaving, as shaving snaps your hair instead of removing from the root. When hair grows back from shaving the hair will no longer be tapered and appear thicker and coarser.
