Types of Labia or Clitoris Intimate Piercings
VCH Piercing (Vertical Clitoral Hood)
In terms of female intimate piercings, the vertical clitoral hood piercing is the most popular and common. A VCH piercing is as the name implies, a piercing which sits vertically on the clitoral hood.
A VCH piercing is suitable for most vulva owners and comes with many benefits. Sexual benefits are a driving force for most people to get the piercing, with many saying their pleasure levels boost astronomically!
HCH Piercing (Horizontal Clitoral Hood)
A HCH piercing is a horizontal piercing through the hood, above the clitoris. A HCH piercing is suitable for most vulva owners, however, is best to check with one of our piercing specialists to make sure it’s suited to the shape of your clit hood.
Christina Piercing
A Christina piercing is different to the clit piercings mentioned above, as it sits above the clitoral hood. A Christina piercing goes through the very front of the vulva, then extends through the mons pubis where it emerges. This piercing is more for ornamental purposes, and unfortunately does not come with as many same sexual benefits as its counterparts. However, it can do wonders for self and sexual confidence!
